September 13, 2099 - Space Station Alpha is hurled out of orbit, carrying the 311 people aboard on an epic odyssey…
After a month in hyperspace, Space Station Alpha materializes near Proxima Centauri where a distress signal is detected from interstellar probe Meta One. A trio of Eagles race to rescue survivors as a mysterious energy field builds around the ship. Suddenly, the probe vanishes in the midst of a gigantic power surge - taking Eagles Two and Three with it. As Eagle One races ahead of the blast in an attempt to return to the space station, Professor Bergman reports the same type of energy field building rapidly around Alpha.
----------------------
"Main Mission to Eagle One. Alan…Koenig here. The energy field is rapidly approaching critical levels. Victor's analysis indicates that it's definitely a hyperspace bubble…if you don't get back…"
"Understood, Commander, I get left behind. Tell the flight deck to open the hangar doors and deploy the arrestor fields at full…I'm going to be coming in hot…"
"Already done, Alan."
"And have medical teams standing by…Doctor Russell has lost consciousness. Her life support monitors are uneven…the acceleration has definitely been hard on her."
"Alan, Bergman here. The energy field has peaked! We're slipping into hyperspace!"
"Damn. I'm hitting the boosters. This isn't going to be pretty!"
WOW!! your meta probe gets my vote, way better then the excuse of a ship in 1999 Very good work mate, good enough for a Da Vinci award (if there was one)
Impressive rendering! I´m a fan of Space 1999 since my childhood. Will be cool to have the show back. You talk about Graywolf-Starkiller, who built the meta-probe and other meshes. I did a search to find them, but I don´t have lucky. Is he a deviant member, or has a standalone page out there? Can you put me in the right direction? Kinndest regards,
